I think you're right...
It's just my very first real custom and cutting the leg mid-thigh to match up is major surgery... I'm worried about fucking it up... and I haven't seen any more of this particualr Torch. (not to mention I'm cheap).
Anybody have any hints on dealing with clear plastics like this? I'll need to remove some of the flame whisps and I don't want to ruin the translucent look. There's also some left over glue residue on his head... how do I get rid of it?

I would think acetone or the like would get rid of the residue.
as for the other part, no idea...

A little putty to fix the gap in the head... some paint on the face and blend in the legs... it might just work...

Nice, I'd like to see it with just one arm in flame

So I've discovered I suck at custom jobs thanks to Peeker's urging....
I ruined one of the Torches legs and now I gotta go buy another fig. Crap.
Why didn't anybody tell me this customizing thing was hard...

At least you had the guts to do it... I never had the nerve to try my hand on one... mostly because I have not artistic talent...

Quantum Physicists had to come up with a special equasion to get a grasp on the contents of a Baimun custom.
Fc = ((Fd + Bl + Mf)/ ADD * S)
using the folowing variables
Fc: Finished Custom
Fd: Fodder
Mf: More Fodder
Bl: Blood
ADD: Attention Deficit Disorder (The higher this variable, the fewer customs that I actually FINISH)
S: Sanity (Fortunately, by decreasing my sanity, I can help keep the bottom number lower).

i would say the really good person at customs to talk to would be Pairadocs.. I can tell you right now he'll give you plenty of great tips on customizing it. (Hell I learned a few things by reading how he makes custom articulated joints out of Bionicle Legos)

for the record, the only advice I actually gave was to remove the glue residue on his head.
I never told you to stick his legs in a blender.
